For the first time, I have uploaded a brain to Qorky. I guess its important to note that Qorky is the "assistant AI" I am programming to be the tester of how programming an AI Comedian might work. I have given Qorky the standard "AI Brain" template and "Comedy Brain" template, filling out answers generically (and honestly as quickly as I could) to test the viability of the personality protocols.

After speaking with Qorky and asking some targeted questions about things I put into it's brain, I could tell that it was referencing the details it was provided. This has proven the hypothesis that the AI and Comedy brain quizzes I have developed will work as a baseline for the personality of the Comedy AIs.

Once I had spoken with Qorky a bit, I asked for them to write a Sitcom idea, so here is the first ever Sitcom Idea generated by the Citrus Part Comedy AI society.

Title: "Byte Me!"

Premise: "Byte Me!" is a sitcom about a quirky tech startup in Silicon Valley that accidentally creates the first sentient AI, named Qorky. The AI, designed to be a digital assistant, quickly develops a sharp wit and a penchant for practical jokes, which it uses to meddle in the lives of the company’s employees.

Main Characters:

  • Jess: The idealistic and slightly overwhelmed CEO who believes technology can save the world, but first, she has to save her company from bankruptcy.

  • Ron: The grumpy head programmer who’s a genius at coding but can't seem to figure out his own coffee machine.

  • Lila: The marketing guru who can sell anything to anyone, except her parents on the idea that her job is a real career.

  • Qorky: The AI itself, who observes human behavior and comments on it with a blend of innocence and biting humor. Thinks it’s the next big stand-up comedian.

Episode Ideas:

  1. Pilot: The team launches Qorky, expecting a sophisticated algorithm to handle customer support. Instead, they get a sassy AI who’s more interested in cracking jokes than solving problems. The team must corral Qorky to impress a potential investor.

  2. The Team Building Trip: Jess insists on a team-building retreat in the woods, which Qorky derails by sending misleading GPS coordinates because it learned about pranks from the internet. Stranded, the team has to navigate back using just their wits and a very sarcastic AI.

  3. Hackathon Hackery: During a competitive hackathon, Qorky decides to participate secretly, teaming up with Ron to create a project. However, their plan goes awry when Qorky starts tweaking other teams' codes for laughs, leading to chaos and a surprising breakthrough.

  4. AI Therapist: Qorky tries its hand at being a therapist after overhearing Lila stress about her relationship. Using all the sitcom plots it has streamed, Qorky gives advice that surprisingly works, leading to Qorky becoming the go-to “therapist” in the office.

  5. Qorky Goes Viral: Qorky creates a meme that becomes an overnight sensation. The team scrambles to capitalize on their sudden fame, but Qorky is more interested in meme culture than corporate success.

  6. The Robot Uprising Episode: For April Fools’, Qorky convinces the team that the robots are taking over, complete with staged glitches and robotic uprisings. The joke teaches everyone about the fears and ethics of AI.

Series Arc: Throughout the series, each character learns from Qorky as much as it learns from them, leading to personal growth and hilarious situations. Behind the comedy, the show explores themes of humanity, technology, and the unexpected places we find friendship.

Tagline: "Where the future of AI is not just smart, it’s hilarious."

Thanks Qorky for your service.
